This Privacy Policy explains how Mukesh LPM Insights (insights.mukeshlpm.in) collects and uses personal data, and the rights you have. We have written it for readers worldwide, including in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection apply, and India, where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 applies.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Mukesh Kumar, operating the publishing brand Mukesh LPM from India. Mukesh LPM is a brand name, not a registered company.
Contact for all privacy matters: support@mukeshlpm.com (subject line “Data request”).
2. What data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages requested, date and time (server logs) | Delivering the website, security, preventing abuse and fraud, diagnosing errors | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure website |
| Cookie identifiers and similar technologies set by our advertising partners | Serving and measuring advertising, including personalised advertising; preventing ad fraud | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), collected through our consent tool. Fraud prevention and security may rely on legitimate interests where permitted. |
| Analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device, referral source) | Understanding which content is useful and improving the site | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Your consent choices | Remembering and proving your privacy choices | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interests |
| Name and email address, and the content of your message, if you contact us | Responding to your enquiry or request | Legitimate interests; or steps at your request |
| Email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter | Sending the newsletter you requested | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can unsubscribe at any time |
We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, special category data (such as health or financial account details). We do not sell personal data for money.
3. Advertising
This site is funded by advertising served through Google Ad Manager (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and Switzerland; Google LLC elsewhere) and the advertising partners (“vendors”) connected to it. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure ad performance and, where you consent, personalise ads based on your interests.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we use a consent management platform that implements the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). It shows you the purposes and the vendors, lets you accept, reject or customise, and passes your choices to Google and other vendors. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads, which use fewer identifiers.
You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
4. Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how readers use the site. We configure it to avoid collecting data that directly identifies you. If you do not consent, analytics cookies are not set.
5. Who we share data with
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the website and store server logs on our behalf.
- Google and the advertising vendors listed in our consent tool, according to your choices.
- Email service providers, if you subscribe to the newsletter or email us.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
6. International transfers
Mukesh LPM is operated from India, and some of our service providers, including Google, process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data of people in the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification of the recipient.
7. How long we keep data
- Server logs: normally up to 30 days, unless needed longer to investigate a security incident.
- Consent records: for as long as needed to demonstrate consent, typically up to 12 months, after which you will be asked again.
- Emails and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last correspondence.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Advertising and analytics cookies: see our Cookie Policy. Data held by Google and vendors is subject to their own retention policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Details and how to exercise them are on our Your Data Rights page.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, access controls and reputable providers to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
11. Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change, and the “last updated” date will change accordingly. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
